The Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund (ATRF) currently has a temporary opportunity for an Analyst, Investment Finance to join the Investment Finance team located in Edmonton, Alberta.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Finance, this position will provide support to the teams within the Investment Finance Team:
Public and Private Markets team – the Analyst, Investment Finance will support onboarding and set up of new investments, accurate administration, execution and reporting, and the production of (or contribution to) portfolio level reporting.
Data Performance & Risk (DPR) team – this position will provide support to produce, maintain and analyze risk reports, ensure availability of accurate and timely risk data, performance and attribution reporting, maintain data integrity checks to ensure risk and performance data is accurate. The Analyst, Investment Finance will perform system administration tasks such as opening and closing accounts, setting up tree structure and creating new profiles.
The Analyst, Investment Finance will collaborate with the various departments and teams within the organization to ensure all reporting deliverables are received in a timely manner.

Educational Qualifications and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Mathematics
- Professional designations (completed or progressing towards) such as CFA, CAIA, CBV and/or CPA will be considered an asset.
- The nature and volume of the work requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability
- Extreme attention to detail along with strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills that present with a high degree of professionalism
- Ability to cope with significant time pressures in order to meet critical daily operational deadlines
