Celebrating Substitute Teachers’ Appreciation Week

Although, substitute teaching serves an essential role in the continuity of students’ learning, it can still be a challenging job, and for that you deserve our gratitude and appreciation!

As an extension of our appreciation, we want to make sure substitute teachers like you have the information you need to make decisions about your retirement. Our website has the essential information you need, including the eligibility requirements to qualify for an Alberta teachers’ pension and how to purchase substitute service to increase your pension.

Please join us on Saturday, June 25 at 9 a.m. for a special 45-minute webinar, specifically tailored to the unique needs of substitute teachers. To attend, simply sign in to your ATRF MyPension account and select ‘Register for a Webinar’ in the Member Menu. This webinar is open to all substitute teachers in Alberta.
