Pension Information Statements
Your Pension Information Statement summarizes your current pension details. It includes:
- your gross monthly pension for the previous year and the current year to reflect the annual cost-of-living adjustment (COLA),
- your net monthly pension to reflect the updated tax rates and credits, and
- information about your pension option and what happens to your pension after your death.
We suggest reviewing your Pension Information Statement to ensure your survivor/beneficiary information is current and to keep a copy of your statement with your other important documents.
Your Statement – Your Choice
ATRF prepares the annual statement every January once the tax details are available from the Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec.
Members registered for MyPension can view their statement online in early January each year. If you change your communication preference to go paperless, you will receive an email notification once a digital copy is available in your MyPension account. If you prefer to receive a paper copy of your statement, it will be mailed in mid-January.
ATRF will also prepare a statement for you whenever there is a change to your pension payment.
