Update on ATRF’s New Employer Portal
ATRF is developing a new employer portal as part of our Project Lantern initiative. Earlier this year, ATRF partnered with an external software development vendor that will assist us in building a new, web-based portal that incorporates feedback we’ve received over the years from you, our employers, about the types of improvements and features you’d like to see.
We are excited about the progress we’ve made on the project so far. Programming started in May using a measured timeline to ensure that our ongoing operations are not impacted. We will be developing the new portal throughout the 2023-24 school year.
In May, we also created a focus group with a handful of employers participating as a representative sample. They provided helpful feedback regarding some early stage navigation and layout designs, which we will incorporate into the design of the portal. We will continue to engage employers at various points as the project progresses.
