Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund is accepting applications for an Information Technology Analyst to join our dynamic, team-oriented organization.
Reporting to the Director, I.T. Infrastructure, the I.T. Analyst position is responsible for ensuring consistent and reliable operations of the Servers, Desktops, Laptops, and related peripherals including printers, copiers, cell phones and tablets.
The position contributes to the operation of ATRF's computing environment by providing remote and deskside end-user support for hardware issues and software applications, responsible for the daily backup and recovery procedures, assist the Security manager when required and support ATRF's business continuity and disaster recovery requirements as it relates to I.T.
The successful applicant will bring to ATRF a proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Operating systems, working knowledge of PC hardware & software, general understanding of Network security, Storage Area Network (SAN), VMware Virtualization products, Microsoft Server products, and Enterprise backup solutions all gained from 3 to 5 years of experience in an information technology helpdesk services environment. Strong analytical skills along with time management and organizational skills are key requirements. A post-secondary diploma in Computer Systems Technology is required.
