The Alberta Teachers' Retirement Fund Board (ATRF), located in Edmonton, Alberta, is seeking a full-time Analyst, Investment Finance to join Investment Finance's Data, Performance and Risk group.
Investment Finance is accountable for ensuring all investment team's operational demands are met in an effective and efficient manner.
The Data, Performance and Risk group is a new functional group built as part of Investment Finance's streamlining of the various functions carried out by the department. This group's role will be to provide services that relate primarily to meeting the reporting and data delivery needs of the organization.
The Analyst will be responsible for managing aspects of investment performance, attribution and risk reporting. This includes assessing data needs for complete and accurate reporting, addressing reporting requests and inquiries from other functions and investigating discrepancies. In addition, the Analyst will be expected to identify opportunities for improvements and enhancements in current processes and reporting. The Analyst will also support the Manager of Investment Finance in executing strategic and tactical objectives.
The successful applicant will bring with them strong quantitative analytical skills. Experience working with BarraOne software and performance measurement software is highly desirable. Applicants will have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, a university degree, and completed or working towards a professional designation such as CFA, CIPM or FRM.
